Cry Love Records is about community. Started as a site for all the various musical projects it's founder John Baker was involved in, Cry Love Records has become much more than that.

HISTORY

When John Baker got started on building a site for himself, he quickly realized the enormous amount of work involved in it. All of the factors that go into building a successful website. The graphics people needed, the cost of having a server carry it, the time involved in operating it. And after all that is done, when the site is finished who is going to see it? If many musical acts are involved sharing each other's databases each act will reach out to that many more people. Greatly increasing their prospective audience. That is when the idea for a Cyber Music Label came to be. Many musical acts sharing, building a community. Cry Love Records is about building an ever expanding community both of musical artists and listeners.

WHAT WE OFFER ARTISTS

Cry Love Records offers a presence on the World Wide Web.

1. A web page on the Cry Love Records website. It's an ad for yourself and/or band.
2. Sale and distribution of your musical recordings and any other merchandise.
3. Monthly newsletters about what is happening with your musical act (upcoming gigs,
   new recordings, new merchandise, etc.) And a week prior to any specific gig an additional
   notice will be sent out informing entire Cry Love Records database about your upcoming
   gig.
